Electronic Arts will release two new The Sims 4 kits, Bathroom Clutter and Simtimates, on January 19. Bathroom Clutter, like the name implies, adds clutter to your bathrooms. It’s a decor kit including wall decor, dentures, combs, and more–according to the preview pic shared on The Sims 4’s official Twitter account. Toilet rolls have also been confirmed.
Simtimates will include a variety of intimates for your Sims. From the preview image, there’s bodysuits, boxers, lingerie, and more.
The Sims 4 kits usually aren’t free, and based on past kits, both Bathroom Clutter and Simtimates will probably be around $5 each. The Sims 4 Everyday Clutter kit, released in November 2022, is priced at $5. Clutter kits are essentially cosmetic DLCs that can add a “lived-in aura” to rooms and houses.

The Sims 5 is currently getting made, as confirmed by the devs Maxis. Nicknamed Project Rene, The Sims 5 is moving away from grid-based systems and towards more freeform placements. The core gameplay is still a mystery, as well as a myriad of details, and Maxis emphasized that The Sims 5–or whatever it ends being called–is in early development, so it could be a while until we see the next Sims games.
The Sims 4 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
